Bill von Brendel has been guiding for over 20 years and is passionate about fishing and takes great care to ensure that his guests gain appreciation and realize the benefit of what great fishing vacations in Canada’s Pacific Rim has to offer. Bill is one of the few guides that offers fly fishing on Vancouver Island for Salmon, Trout, & Steelhead. His favorite activity is fly fishing for steelhead in British Columbia, something that many accomplished anglers aspire to do. He also loves to fish in lakes from a pontoon boat and guide fresh water fishing for large Coastal Cutthroat Trout and Rainbow Trout.

Alan Boyd – Wild Pacific Charters
Alan Boyd – Wild Pacific Charters
Alan Boyd has 20 years of guiding around the Ucluelet area. Fishing started for him at an early age out of Vancouver, Al did a lot of sport fishing and boating with his Dad and family. The family first moved to Ucluelet in 1968. His Dad bought a commercial fish boat so Al was able to experience the commercial side of fishing, but he always was enthusiastic about sport fishing. He first started guiding in 1981, guided through the 80’s and then took a break for awhile to travel around North America. Alan has returned to Ucluelet now and has been back guiding for over 10 years now.
Alan Boyd owns and operates Wild Pacific Charters. He has a 30 foot 2006 Grady White Marlin, a very nice decked out and clean boat.
